THERAPY FOR anxiety

Do you find yourself worrying, overthinking, or spiraling on certain thoughts? Perhaps you’ve tried to distract yourself or avoid certain triggers just to have your anxiety force its way back in. You probably feel frustrated, unable to live “in the moment” because you feel trapped inside your own head and uncomfortable in your own body.

Anxiety is manageable if you know how to implement the right skills into your daily life

Below are some signs you’re struggling with an anxiety disorder and not just your run-of-the-mill worry:

  • Worrying takes up a large part of your day

  • You feel tense, on edge, or like something bad is going to happen

  • You find yourself asking for constant reassurance from people close to you

  • You have trouble falling asleep and/or staying asleep because it feels like your mind can’t shut off

  • You experience somatic symptoms like muscle tension, digestive issues, racing heart beat, sweating, or difficulty catching your breath

  • You know many of your anxious thoughts are unreasonable, but knowing that doesn’t seem to reduce your anxiety

Therapy approaches:

person-centered - dialectical behavioral therapy (dbt) - strength-based - mindfulness - acceptance commitment therapy (act)- cognitive behavioral therapy (cbt) Exposure & Response Prevention: ERP

Cancellation policy

We prioritize our clients by holding space for each person we see. When clients cancel an appointment, our clinicians offer that space to other clients who need an appointment that week. When clients cancel within 24-hours or do not show, other clients miss out on an opportunity to be seen.

If you do not cancel your scheduled therapy appointment and have not notified us at least 24 business hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
