Cole’s credentials and philosophy

licensed professional counselor (lpc) - pronouns (he/him/his) - english - individuals and couples

I have a profound belief in the strength and resilience of the human condition. Each person carries a vast amount of internal resources and inherent capacity that may, at times, feel distant or even inaccessible. My role as a therapist is to help clients utilize their strengths in a way that leads to tangible, impactful progress.

My therapeutic approach is anchored in the belief that insight leads to lasting change. With a greater understanding of our thought processes, interpersonal patterns, and behavioral tendencies, comes an increased ability for purposeful growth. Alongside this process, I incorporate somatic interventions that work with the body’s physiological responses. I also draw from modalities like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to capture the complexity of the human experience.

At the center of my work is a warm, accepting, and intuitive presence. I strive to attune to each client’s unique needs through a personalized, relational approach. With curiosity at the forefront, we will explore your internal experience and how it shapes the way you relate to the world around you.

I bring several years of clinical experience working with diverse populations across the lifespan. In addition to my clinical work, I have contributed to research on adolescents at high risk for psychosis and conducted independent research on the psychological impact of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) policies on student-athlete mental health. I frequently pull on peer-reviewed research in order to continuously evolve my understanding of counseling practice. I embrace clients showing up authentically in the therapy room and I am inspired by the courage and vulnerability clients routinely demonstrate in session.
